$9,500 Grant the Burlington County Library Systemreceived to fund new literacy initiatives, including high school equivalency prep books, the Oxford Picture Dictionary and manyother resources.
5,235 Number of books Signal Hill Elementary School collected to donate to BookSmiles, which gives children across New Jersey new or gently used books.
$20,000 Grant the Voorhees Animal Orphanage receivedfrom the Petco Foundation. The grant will be used to help with medical expenses, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations and cleaning materials.
$51,000 Amount raised by the Medford ShopRite during the Partners in Caring Cheerios Contest meant to end hunger with donations to organizations such as the Food Bank of South Jersey.
